Wladimir Klitschko wins heavyweight unification fight

In New York Ukrainian boxer Wladimir Klitschko won Sultan Ibragimov by unanimous decision of all judges (119-110, 117-111, 118-110) and became titleholder by both versions IBF and WBO.

Russian heavyweight boxer Sultan Ibragimov didn't expect Wladimir Klitschko would be so fast. "He (Klitschko) was much slower in his previous fights. My plan was to be very active, break the distance but it was too hard." - he said.

From his side, Klitschko says he is happy to hold three titles IBF, WBO and IBO. "I'm happy to get back my first title in professional sport - WBO.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Julia Timoshenko has already congratulated Wladimir with the victory over Russian boxer Sultan Ibragimov.
